An intimate and romantic wedding celebration on Elizah's family estate is what made this bride of the week's big day unique and special. Just like every modern love story, Elizah and Sam's journey began when they met online. Apparently, all the effort we put into the 'gram can be worth it in the end - #instalove! Despite COVID, this beautiful couple was able to celebrate their love with family and friends on their special day. The all-over beading on Elizah’s dress added to the elegance and romance of their cozy rustic wedding.
As mentioned above, Elizah and Sam's ceremony and reception took place on Private property in Cedar Creek, Queensland, at Elizah’s family home. Being surrounded by family and friends was a luxury in 2020; hence, Elizah noted the most memorable part of the day was walking down the aisle thinking “we made it”, despite all the obstacles presented by the year.
Elizah came into our Brisbane bridal boutique, for her appointment and left feeling ecstatic from the ease and detail of the day: “The team treated me like I was the only one in the entire venue, with help imagining myself on the day”. She wore the beautiful, beaded wedding dress TATUM by Zavana Couture. The perfect mermaid silhouette and all-over beading of TATUM had Elizah feeling as elegant and chic as “someone from the Great Gatsby!” And she looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding gown.
When asking Elizah for advice to all future brides, the Brisbane couple urges, those planning around COVID-19, to remember why you are getting married. Especially, every time things seem overwhelming: “As long as you’ve got the right person waiting for you at the end of the aisle, you can do no wrong.” We couldn't agree more!
With COVID-19 restrictions changing from week to week, Elizah and Sam used this as an opportunity to test their problem-solving skills as a couple and made the best of what was possible. “No amount of planning can prepare you for a pandemic and things won't go to plan, breathe deep, soak it in and embrace the help you get offered.” You got this, COVID-brides!
Elizah said that many of her favourite memories came from those made with her mum and dad working to transform the family home into their fabulous wedding venue. Making memories to last a lifetime became a major part of their wedding and we feel incredibly grateful to have been part of this Brisbane bride's special day.
Sam and Elizah look forward to traveling together once the pandemic ends, growing their family, and of course, no more wedding planning!
