Curvy Brides, We Hear You!
Being a woman means to be unique and we all know that each and every one of us is different. Since we come in all shapes and sizes, we need to make sure that our wedding dresses cater to exactly that, including plus sizes! We celebrate inclusivity and love getting you in your dream dress. Hence, we currently have over 50 samples in store that are a size 16 and above; this includes gowns that go up to size 30.
However, since a lot of bridal designers, don't showcase versatile bodies within their marketing collaterals, it's hard to imagine how many plus-size dresses, in fact, exist. So let's take a closer look at which designers are focusing on plus-size wedding dresses and how they are promoting inclusivity within the bridal industry.
Pronovias x Ashley Graham
Earlier this year, Pronovias launched their Ashley Graham collection. Ashley Graham is a supermodel, entrepreneur, and body activist. She is passionate about making women feel confident, beautiful, and strong in their own skin. In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, Pronovias Chief Artistic Director Alessandra Rinaudo partnered with Ashley. Together, they created a varied collection of stunning bridal designs, suited to all body types. The capsule features improved structure and fits across all sizes, from size 0 to 34. This includes new, built-in shapewear and an integrated, supportive bra. These plus-size wedding dresses guarantee glamour and we promise that you´ll strut down the aisle glowing with confidence. In an interview with Vogue, Ashley says: “I want the Ashley Graham x Pronovias bride to feel bold, brilliant, and beautiful. I want her to be blissfully happy and confident as she embarks on this new chapter in her life.” We are honestly obsessed.
Every Body Every Bride
Another one of our designers, who is doing an amazing job at promoting curve designs, is Stella York. Stella York and the Essense of Australia group launched the 'Every Body Every Bride' range. They believe every bride, regardless of her body shape or size, should experience the joy of finding the designer wedding dress of her dreams. We couldn't agree more! Which is why we are one of the selected stores in Australia to showcase the EBEB collection; providing brides with a greater selection of sample gowns in sizes 18 – 34. All of these gowns have been created using our new sizing system, which better represents the needs and proportions of the size 18+ bride. Yay!

Trust us, when we say this: You are going to find 'The One'. And we will help you with every step along the way. Our expert Stylists are trained in selecting gowns for varied body shapes and sizes with the goal of making every woman feel fabulous in her dream gown. To make sure that you feel comfortable during your appointment, we always recommend wearing shapewear or nude underwear and a strapless bra. We will be working with you in the change room to assist with achieving the best fit so make sure you are comfortable in your undergarments, at all times.
