Taylor and Cody's big day was filled with dance floor magic amongst close friends and family at the couple's Botanic Gardens/Headricks Lane nuptials. The wedding party was ready to carve up the dance floor after a day filled with love, commitment and celebration between the two high school sweethearts.
Cody and Taylor knew they were destined to be together even when they first met over nine years ago! The pair first crossed paths while at high school through a mutual friend. The connection was instant and the rest is history as they say!
The loved-up couple arranged their big day to be held in the lush surrounds of the Rockhampton Botanic Gardens - a beautiful natural area beautifully suited to the lush and glam wedding theme.
Taylor knew she wanted her day to be the perfect combination of elegant and timeless, yet modern and relaxed - and my goodness did she nail it! The day oozed glamour and sophistication with a rich burgundy and red colour palette pared back with mixed greenery.
"I'm so happy with how they (the florals) turned out, it felt moody and romantic." Says bride, Taylor.
Our beautiful bride opted for deep burgundy lips and old-school hollywood waves to tie-in perfectly with the styling. Taylor fell in love with the Harlie gown from Australian designer, Made with Love Bridal. This gown features a cascading sequinned lace in a subtle shade of nude - a lace like no other.
Taylor loved everything about her dress, not only it's glimmering sequins sparkling as they caught the light, but how she felt in it.
"I loved the unstructured look and feel of the gown," Says Taylor. "It was great for dancing and eating!"
As one of the highlights of her day, it was important she be able to move freely to dance with her new husband (see the amazing photos down below!).
Taylor's words of wisdom for brides-to-be?
"If you want a killer dance floor you better be on it!" She says.
