Brianna & Luke - A Colourful Barn Elopement

Our White Lily bride of the week Brianna and now-husband Luke’s love story is as raw as their special day. Meeting at only 18, their friendship slowly but surely grew into a beautiful bond for life.

Wedding Styling And Decor

Colourful decor with a gorgeous mix of pastel and vibrant flower elements created a warm and intimate atmosphere on Brianna’s special day. After saying their vows, surrounded by luscious greenery and their nearest and dearest, their elopement continued with a beautiful barn set-up. 

Just like their ceremony, Brianna and Luke’s reception was unique and intimate with one sole focus, love!

 “Our wedding was just our immediate family who live interstate and we hadn't seen in such a long time due to Covid. There was just so much love!”

Wedding Planning

When looking through their incredible wedding images, there is no way we would have guessed that the entire day was planned four days prior to the date only. After fully embracing their wedding planning journey as a couple, Brianna and Luke’s plans completely fell through. Upon having to postpone their big day from September 2020 to February 2021, the couple decided to cancel their wedding and go ahead with an elopement in December. It wasn’t until our bride’s mum pulled this gorgeous plan together, that the Queensland couple had any idea what their elopement day was going to look like:

 “I had never been to Osteria's wedding venue before and really had no idea what our wedding was going to look like. Walking through those doors and seeing the incredible wedding my mum organised and decorated for us, and my amazing husband tearing up down the end of the aisle was just such a magical moment.”

The Dress

When Brianna and her mum walked into our boutique, they were on a mission. Our White Lily bride had been virtually eyeing-off her dream wedding dress INESSA by Stella York for a while, and finally came to our Red Hill boutique for a fitting: “The moment I tried it on I knew it was the one - the skirt is just incredible! I couldn't stop twirling in it all day!“ And just like that, Brianna had found her dream gown. 

Advice From The Bride

With many things going wrong leading to her wedding day, Brianna’s advice to future brides is to just go with the flow and to enjoy the process with all changes and challenges: “Embrace the fact that some things are going to be out of your control because it makes up a part of your story, and remember that it will be the perfect day in the end because you get to marry the love of your life and that's what it's really all about. “ 

Future As Mr. & Mrs

Being able to finally go through life as husband and wife, Brianna and Luke can’t wait to start their long and happy future together: “to start a family, buy a home, travel and experience all of life's rollercoaster by each other's side.”
