A breathtaking county scenery, gorgeous dried flower arrangements, and a mission to unite two lovers, for life. This week’s White Lily bride Meagan’s wedding day was pure perfection.
It’s a Love Story, Baby Just Say Yes
Meagan and Kieran first met on a night out at the Royal Exchange Hotel in Toowong. As it turns out, the RE truly is a matchmaker - Kieran finally proposed to Meagan on a mountain top, whilst traveling Canada, in December 2019.
Wedding Planning & Styling
As the months went past and Covid slowly hit Australia, the Brisbane couple decided to move their wedding date from September to December.
“We were fortunate enough that we were in the country that all restrictions were lifted come November. But the day is about you and your partner whether you have 5 people or 100 the love between you and your partner will not change so go ahead with your original plans.”
When their wedding day finally arrived, things couldn’t have worked out more beautifully.
Meagan and Kieran created a rustic-themed day with soft tones and blush decor. The country backdrop offered the perfect balance of grand scenery mixed with an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.
Putting a large emphasis on securing the perfect images on her wedding day, our White Lily bride’s precious moments were captured by Shutter and Lace Photography: “I remember two weeks after being engaged I messaged liv from shutter and lace to see what dates she had available for 2020.” And they truly turned our magical!
Her Dress
The gorgeous low back and show-stopping train of INGRAM by Stella York made Meagan fall in love with her dream gown: “I felt like a princess in it… I loved the detailing on my dress and the style enhanced my figure.“
The White Lily Experience
“From the first time I stepped through the door it was professional, from choosing my the gowns I loved to trying them on it was an amazing experience. There was no pressure at all and the extra treatment of providing champagne just topped it off.”
From Bride to Bride
We get the best advice from those with experience, so here are Meagan’s words of wisdom to all future brides: “Plan your wedding exactly how you want it, embrace all the planning because the day goes so quickly.”
With Covid changes being an all-time risk, Meagan also stresses to remember that the day is about you and your partner: “…whether you have 5 people or 100 the love between you and your partner will not change…” Despite the challenges throughout her wedding planning journey, our White Lily bride Meagan is now as proud as ever to call Kieran her husband. The loved-up couple is now looking forward to sharing the same last name and spending the rest of their lives together.
