Vimvipa & Paul - A Scenic Fairytale Wedding

Vimvipa and Paul said their vows in one of Queensland’s dreamiest wedding locations. Surrounded by beautiful nature and a gorgeous backdrop with incredible mountain views, the couple finally got married. After eleven long years of knowing each other, their wedding day was pure perfection.

Before we get into the details of Vimvipa and Paul’s wedding day, let’s talk about their journey over the past few years. Paul fell heads over heels in love with Vimvipa, from the moment he laid his eyes on her. After getting rejected first and spending loads of time together as friends, Paul eventually found his way into her heart and found the courage to ask her out again for the second time. Soon enough, Vimvipa realised that she was, indeed, completely in love with Paul. “They say that persistence beats resistance…”

And that’s only the beginning of the couple’s fairytale love story…Imagine you are on a family trip to Disneyland. The love of your life gets down on one knee and pops the question in one of the happiest places in the world: “I wanted to propose in front of the castle and make you my forever Queen.” How are you not supposed to be covered in goosebumps after hearing about Vimvipa and Paul’s engagement story?!

After the big proposal and knowing that they had a wedding to plan, Vimvipa wanted to make sure that they found a location that they both loved. After years worth of planning, the couple had to completely reorganise everything, only three months before the wedding. Due to Covid the couple’s original plans of having a destination wedding in Greece, Europe were sadly canceled. However, they managed to find the most breathtaking location in Queensland and got married during a beautifully romantic and scenic ceremony at Rosewood Estate. Vimvipa also emphasised the importance of having a good day coordinator and celebrant, who were able to share their love story and make the couple feel at ease, throughout the day. “Having our wedding coordinator was the best decision we made.”

Despite Vimvipa and Paul’s ‘last-minute’ changes, their wedding day turned out absolutely magical. Vimvipa remembers their son walking her down the aisle and finally hearing Paul’s vows, whilst being surrounded by beautiful views, music, as well as their nearest and dearest. Pure magic.

Upon asking Vimvipa what advice she has for future brides, she points out the importance of doing what makes YOU happy: “Create your own traditions.”

Just like the rest of her wedding day, Vimvipa wanted to make sure that her wedding dress was perfect. Sure enough, she walked into our Brisbane boutique after visiting two other bridal stores. As soon as she laid her eyes on ULYANA by Zavana Couture, she knew that she was going to find her dream wedding dress with us: “When I put on my wedding gown I just knew it was the one. Milly was so kind, she really took the time to listen to what I was looking for in a dress. She was so accommodating and made me feel so special.” Vimvipa loved how her dress came with a cape and that the lace, embroidery, and beading were so detailed. “I also purchased another cape and a blushing veil to allow for 3 different looks. I loved how my wedding gown fit perfectly with our venue Location with all of the stunning backdrops.”

Now that the Queensland couple is finally married, Vimvipa and Paul are looking forward to growing old together and hopefully travel, as soon as the world opens up again.
