When Jess and Mat chanced upon each other at a house party, where Jess was too nervous to even say ‘Hello,’ at first, but it wasn’t long before they realised how much they had in common.
It was clear that the pair were meant to be, after recently holding their wedding at Preston Peak Winery – the rustic Hinterland wedding venue West of Brisbane.
This was by far the most important element of planning for real bride, Jess. It was all she had hoped for, “Location – a naturally beautiful place was the priority because I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on styling and could put money towards flowers, entertainment and delicious food without breaking the bank.”
That meant that the loved-up duo could focus on what really mattered on the day, such as being with loved ones and marrying her one and only. The exact moment their eyes met was Jess’ favourite part of the day. “Seeing my husband at the end of the isle, my nerves instantly melted the moment I held his hands.” Said Jess.
She urges brides-to-be to take in these moments on the day as they can be fleeting. “Take every moment on the night to look around the room, everyone you love is in there and you won’t see that again.” She says.
Our beautiful bride, Jess looked stunning in Everly by Noosa designer, Erin Clare. This timeless gown is crafted from a luxe crepe and features a dreamy A-line skirt. Jess adored her gown saying “It was so comfy! It is a simple yet classic style that allowed me to have my custom crown without feeling over the top.”
Following their stunning wedding the newlyweds spent a relaxing week on the coast together and are planning their honeymoon for the new year.
