Dried palms combined with luscious blush roses, this week’s White Lily bride Bec and husband Zac celebrated their love with the most stunning setup at Sirromet Winery. After living in almost the same suburb, studying the same degree at the same uni, Bec and Zac finally got introduced to each other by a mutual friend: “We were meant to meet somehow.” A few years later, the Brisbane couple is onto the next chapter of their lives.
The Proposal
“Zac took me to Noosa on our dating anniversary. He told me were going to dinner. Next thing I knew, he walked me over to the beach, where a beautiful boho luxe tepee was set up with cushions, fairy lights, candles, rugs, chocolate, wine, fruit, nibbles, etc. He proposed on the beach in our favourite little spot.”
Wedding Style and Decor
“Chic, classic & timeless with a touch of boho luxe” were Bec’s words upon asking what best described the style of her wedding. Instead of focusing on one particular style, Bec and Zac found a balance between soft, classic elegance, and rustic yet luxe boho touches. Why settle with one theme, if you can make both work? Their palm leaf arches for their ceremony were the perfect contrast to the couple’s selection of white and blush flower arrangements. Surrounded by wine barrels and fairy lights, Bec and Zac's nearest and dearest were able to enjoy the warmest and most welcoming atmosphere. Despite their postponed wedding date, Bec enjoyed every moment of putting together her dream wedding day; her advice to future brides is to just enjoy the process: “…It all goes so quick. Soak everything up along the way.”
The Dress
Thousands of beads combined with the most form-fitting silhouette, NICKY by Enzoani was the perfect match for Bec: “I felt so beautiful.” The plunging V as well as the low back created the most elevated look and tied in perfectly with the elegant theme of the day. Upon asking Bec what made her White Lily experience special for her, she emphasised our caring team of stylists: “The girls!! they’re all so incredible & made me, my mum and my MOH feel so welcome & comfortable.”
Standout Suppliers
When planning their wedding, Bec and Zac’s biggest focus was on their photographer and videographer: “Photos and videos are things that last forever & can be passed on to our future family.” White Fox Studios nailed it with their gorgeous images, capturing every moment in the most beautiful way. One memory that Bec particularly cherishes was the moment she hopped out of the limo “to see my best friend down the aisle waiting for me…” Thanks to White Fox Studios Bec and Zac (and us) will be able to relive that moment over and over again.
Mr. and Mrs.
Complete the sentence: Being married means: officially starting life with my best friend as one. Now that Bec and Zac have moved onto the next chapter of their lives, Bec’s favourite thing about being married is: “Knowing that I’ve started a whole new chapter of my life with the person I love the most.”
