Crossing paths at senior year formal thanks to their best man Kurt, Zoe and Zach had no idea that they would later wed in a stylish and intimate Summergrove Estate wedding.
“I went to Zach’s year 12 formal with our best man, Kurt and Zach at the time had a girlfriend. Two years later, Kurt invited me to his 20th birthday party, where Zach and I re-met,” she said, “luckily, Zach had just broken up with his girlfriend… and the rest is history!” Zoe said.
When planning their special day, it was important for the couple to trust their vendors to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible. “It was important to me that I trusted my vendors so that our wedding day was a beautiful, happy, stress free day for all of my family and friends,” she said.
It is without denial that your wedding day is one of the most memorable days of your life, and for Zoe, seeing Zach waiting at the other end of the isle was a pinnacle moment. “Seeing Zach’s face full of emotion at the other end of the isle when I entered was so special,” she said, “and of course seeing how happy our family and friends were the entire day.”
Zoe wore the classic A-line Meadow gown, featuring lace and tulle detailing and a little tad of sparkle. “I love how unique my dress was; the ivory colour and the beautiful detailing – it’s just a little bit extra,” she said, “who doesn't want to be a little bit extra on their wedding day!?”
When asked to offer advice to other couples who are preparing for their wedding, Zoe said:
“Start your wedding planning early. Don't leave things until last minute. We had everything finalised weeks before the wedding day and this meant we were completely relaxed and could properly enjoy the lead up to the wedding and the wedding day itself.”
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in the Maldives relaxing and eating incredible food. “Zach planned the whole honeymoon as a surprise. I found out where we were going when we arrived at the airport.”
The couple has recently purchased their first home together and are super excited to have a place of their own, build memories and start a little family.
