Sophie and Jake’s Romantic Luxe Wedding

Romantic luxe was on Sophie’s mind when planning her special day and we are in love! Hundreds of blush and white roses, a mixture of candles and fairy lights, paired with golden decor and luxe cocktails - we couldn’t take our eyes off this week’s White Lily bride Sophie and husband Jake’s images. With help from the couple’s vendors, their vision was brought to life: “My wedding planner, florist & caterer were most important. All of these vendors did the most amazing job and I couldn't have been happier!”

After meeting through mutual friends in Queensland’s Bundaberg, Jake proposed to Sophie at their family’s beach house in Agnes Waters. Originally, Jake had planned to surprise her with a helicopter ride to heart reef; however, Mr Covid forced Jake to whip out plan B and ask Sophie to be her wife in a slightly different setting. Despite Covid’s impact on Jake’s proposal plans, the Queensland couple’s wedding wasn’t affected by the pandemic: “We were so thankful that we didn't have to change our date. The week leading up to our wedding all restrictions were dropped. We were so lucky!” Celebrated on private property, Jake and Sophie’s special day was truly magical. 

Sophie’s Favourite Memories

With the planning and day going by so fast, Sophie particularly remembers “Walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing my husband at the other end - This was such a special moment!” Sophie also appeals to other brides, who are currently planning their wedding, and advises to take it all in: “Try and enjoy all of the planning & preparation even though it may be stressful! Time flies!”

It’s All About The Sparkle

The star-studded designer gown Constellation by Atelier Pronovias is a true showstopper and tied in perfectly with Sophie’s romantic and luxe wedding theme. The snowflake tulle on our Atelier gown is truly unique and exactly what Sophie was looking for: “The sparkle! It was like nothing I had ever seen before. It was so gorgeous and I had so many compliments!” We seriously can’t take our eyes off these photos!

Future As Mr. & Mrs. 

Now that the couple has entered their next chapter as husband and wife, Sophie and Jake are excited to see what life has in store for them. The Queensland couple is also over the moon to finally be able to call each other husband and wife.
