Sharni and James' Customs House wedding was a classic affair with everything coming together perfectly for the couple to create the wedding of their dreams.
White + white created an elegant, classic & fun day for the couple with the bride remarking "Danielle and her team from White + White wedding planning were exceptional- she really did make the entire process seamless and smooth"
The classic theme continued with the bride's dress choice. Sharni wore the gorgeous ' ' gown by ' '. She styled the dress with a simple up-do and accentuated her look with understated jewellery. For Sharni it was love at first sight with her dress commenting " It was a fairly classic fitted style, with a slight fishtail line at the bottom in an off white ivory. It was actually the first dress I tried on, it fit perfectly, which was a relief, as I didn’t have enough time to have something made. It was a surreal feeling and I’m so glad I shared it with my Mum – I think it was a pretty big moment for her – we both just kept smiling and laughing, it was a great experience!”
Sharni and James were married at Latrobe Chapel as they loved the pretty feel to the venue.
Customs House on the river was the perfect choice for the couple's fun reception.“We chose a more relaxed and fun ceremony, we wanted it to be fairly light-hearted and representative of us – there were even a few jokes about the fact that we met online, in there.”
Of their photographer, Sharni remembers, “Jason is amazingly talented and an all round great guy – we really didn’t want staged or contrived photo scenes and Jason was able to make us feel super relaxed in order to capture some wonderfully candid moments that we will treasure forever.”
Bouquet Boutique created tall classic arrangements in green and white.
Cakes Actually created somewhat of a surprise cake for the newlyweds, James explains. “I really wanted a hotdog stand, which proved to be a hit by the end of the night! Probably my favourite though was the cake, it was a three tiered cake, mostly in traditional white with the the back quarter done in Batman – during the cake cutting we did the big reveal and everyone got a good laugh out of it.”
