There is nothing more special than helping a dear friend find the dress of her dreams and then watch her walk the aisle in it. This is what Creative Director Alera, was able to do to celebrate the wedding of Linzie to her husband, Tom in sophisticated style. An absolute dream for any bridal store owner!
The wedding took place in Tasmania at acclaimed Aloft Restaurant overlooking the bay. The couple envisioned a relaxed atmosphere where guests could mingle in a warm and cosy setting. The location provided just the space.
Linzie wore Dravidia, a crepe fitted gown by Pronovias with long flowing train and high neckline. The bride chose to leave the sweeping back open; opting not to wear the detachable beaded back-piece but to air on the side of simplicity. Paired with a bespoke Tania Maras headpiece and classic cathedral veil, her look was both timeless and elegant - a true reflection of her personal style.
The day was all about love, family and commitment as the couple tied the knot in front of loved ones from around the world. Tom's niece and nephew made special appearances in lieu of a bridal party ensuring a stress-free evening for all who attended. "Seeing Linzie walk down the aisle in a gown I helped her choose was a true privilege for me" said Alera. "She could not have looked a more perfect version of herself if she tried".
