Lauren & Damon's Modern Romantic Wedding

"Damon & I met in highschool. We were best friends initially & then it blossomed into more after school. We've been together ever since, and Damon proposed 10 years to the day after we met under an incredible fig tree in Byron Bay." Lauren said of their story.

Their big day was everything and more with gorgeous details such as blush pink roses and ribbons pared back with a rustic chapel and classic black bow ties for the groomsmen. 

Their stunning ceremony was closely followed by a luxe reception held in a beautiful brick barn superbly styled by Wanderlust Creative. The overall feeling was one of warmth and love as the pair celebrated their nuptials with family and friends. 

"Our wedding day was everything we could have possibly wished for, there was so much joy & love all around us on the day, and celebrating with our friends and family was a dream come true."

The sun shone brightly through the large arched windows of the chapel onto Lauren's Maddie gown from US designer, Enzoani. This beautiful ballgown features a full skirt, a trickling textural multimodal lace bodcie - chantilly layered with lace appliqués, and luxe diamanté straps. Our beaming bride opted for statement diamanté earrings and a two-tier raw-edge veil to complete her wedding day look. Lauren knew instantly that the Maddie gown was her dream dress:

"I really knew Maddie was 'the one' as soon as I stepped out behind the curtain and saw everyone's faces. I never thought I would have that feeling (I'm very fussy), but my Mum & sister both teared up and soon enough we were all in tears! Jodi from White Lily really made the whole experience so special with her expertise and guidance on the day. I love that Maddie was a real 'bridal' gown- something I would only ever wear on my wedding day, and really made me feel like a princess."
