Crystal wed her beloved James at the lush botanic gardens of Rockhampton in an urban chic wedding ceremony. Enveloped in rich greenery, Crystal looked simply amazing in her Sasha gown from Made with Love Bridal.
The ceremony was small and intimate, with just a handful of guests including the couple's close friends and family. This was a highlight of the day for Crystal - along with "getting to wear that dress!!" She gushed. The entire ceremony was a secret to all those except the ceremony attendees - a total of 18 people.
"My bridesmaids didn’t even tell their partners, one of them Theresa said we were going to Brisbane to try on wedding dresses on that Friday," Crystal explained.
The couple were married on the Friday and then held their 'engagement party' on the Saturday.
"Little did they know, we already got married!"
The couple had the ceremony filmed by Jyhe at Maddog Productions, who managed to have the video ready by Saturday morning to show to guests at the party not long into the night.
"People were really surprised," says Crystal, "It really set the vibe for the rest of the night."
Crystal's secret ceremony was given the finishing touch with her gorgeous Sasha gown from Made with Love Bridal. This luxurious, yet boho gown features sensational crocheted lace over a tan coloured underlay fabric. The eye-catching lace design, stretch fabric and sheer neckline were the perfect combination for Crystal and James' effortlessly stylish wedding.
Crystal adored her gown and the fact that it was a truly different style. "It was just what I was looking for - a modern vintage style! I don’t really like the traditional style dress, and I loved loved loved the train!"
Our beautiful bride knew as soon as she tried the superb Sasha on, that she was the one. "I didn’t like it when I first saw it on the hanger," Says Crystal, "But when I put it on I just knew this was the dress I wanted."
Crystal accessorised exquisitely with an intricate vine headpiece and a raw-edged veil pinned low - a masterclass in chic wedding style!
With a series of serendipitous and superb selections as well as a keen sense of style, Crystal and James' wedding day could not have been more perfect. Above all else, Crystal named her favourite part of the day as "Marrying my best friend." Could it get any cuter than that? We think not.
