When Should I Start Shopping for My Wedding Dress?
We recommend beginning your wedding dress search 9–12 months before your wedding day. This allows time for:
- Your beautiful gown to arrive from production (typically 4–6 months)
- Your collection appointment
- Trying on your dream gown and alterations
If you’re working with a shorter timeline, don’t worry. We have you covered here too! We offer a range of beautiful sample gowns for immediate purchase.
Do I Need to Make an Appointment?
Yes — we work by appointment to ensure every bride receives a personalised experience with a dedicated stylist. You can book online here or call our Brisbane boutique directly.
How Much Do Your Gowns Cost?
Our gowns typically range from $2,500 to $6,500, with most between $3,500 and $4,500. We also offer sale and off-the-rack gowns for brides looking to stay within a tighter budget in our outlet. Outlet gowns are sample gowns and come in a range of sizes and styles to suit every body and every one. You can see our range on the website or book an Outlet appointment to come in and see our range in person.
What Sizes Are Available?
We stock sample gowns in sizes 8 to 22 and can order most styles up to size 34. Our stylists are experienced in working with brides of all shapes and sizes to ensure the perfect fit and a positive experience.
What Should I Bring to My Appointment?
To make the most of your visit, we recommend bringing:
- Nude or seamless underwear
- A strapless bra (if you have one)
- Heels similar to what you'll wear on the day
- Inspiration photos or saved styles
- Your loved ones who will help you find the dress of your dreams (we suggest 2–3 trusted guests)
How Long Are Appointments?
Our standard bridal consultations are 90 minutes long. This allows time for your stylist to guide you through options, try on multiple gowns, and narrow down your favourites without rushing the experience.
What Happens When I Say “Yes” to the Dress?
When you find the one, here’s what happens next:
- We take your measurements
- Help you choose the correct size and custom options
- Place your order with the designer
- Take a deposit to confirm your order
We’ll keep you updated throughout the process until your gown arrives.
Do You Offer Alterations?
We don’t offer in-house alterations, but we provide a list of trusted local seamstresses based on positive feedback from previous clients. You're free to use anyone you’re comfortable with, but we never recommend.
Can I Take Photos During My Appointment?
Yes, you're welcome to take photos and videos of the gowns you try on. Please check with your assigned staff member first, though, as they may not wish to be included in your images. And, please avoid other brides and their guests in your photos.
Do You Offer Payment Plans?
Yes, we offer flexible payment options. Your stylist will walk you through available plans during your appointment so that you can say “yes” with confidence and peace of mind.
