THE DRESS
Emilie embarked on her dress hunt at White Lily Couture, knowing their extensive collection would cater to her unique style. The experience was everything she hoped for – supportive, stress-free, and filled with gorgeous options. While she initially envisioned a non-traditional dress with sleeves, fate had other plans. After trying on several dresses, she knew "the one" had to be special. And special it was - Vela by Hera Couture! The final gown was a stunning departure from her initial idea, yet it resonated deeply with her and captured everyone's hearts. Emilie's advice to future brides? Trust your instincts, embrace the experience, and be open to possibilities – your dream dress might surprise you!
SPECIAL TOUCHES
But what truly made Emilie and Chris's wedding special? It was the way they weaved their closest relationships into the fabric of the day. While they opted out of a traditional bridal party, their inner circle was very much present. Emilie had her lifelong friends by her side as she got ready, with one friend taking on the role of MC and two others delivering a touching joint speech. Chris, too, shared special moments with his closest companions, including a pre-wedding father-son bonding session with his son, Billy. Both Emilie and Chris's friends were entrusted with delivering heartfelt speeches, adding a personal touch that resonated with everyone present.
Emilie's thoughtfulness extended to her family as well. She requested that the florist create small bouquets with ribbons for her mum, niece, and Chris's mums, a sweet gesture that included them in the celebration.
