Romantic decor, modern pops of colour, high ceilings, and glass panels overlooking the whimsical garden views at Sanctuary Cove; one thing is for sure, this week’s White Lily bride Casee’s special day was pure elegance. With details put together so beautifully, Casee and now-husband Brandon’s Gold Coast wedding was everything a bride dreams of for her special day.
From one knee to an Italian Ambulance Station
One of our favourite parts about writing these blogs is asking about how it all came together. We love hearing our real brides' love stories, from start to finish. And just when we thought we had heard it all, Casee sent her engagement story our way. Brandon proposed during their trip to Italy, in 2019. What came next was a little less romantic, yet something Casee and Brandon can now laugh about. Soon after Brandon’s romantic proposal at Positano, the Brisbane couple realised that the engagement ring was too tight. To top it off, the ring was stuck on Casee’s finger, which slowly started to turn purple: “…we had to go to an Italian ambulance station to cut it off my finger. Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove is one of those venues you look at and think: WOW! As one of the Gold Coast's most picturesque wedding locations, Sanctuary Cove was the perfect setting for Casee and Brandon’s timeless and elegant wedding day. Much to our liking, Casee put a huge emphasis on finding the perfect photographer and videographer to capture their special day: “… they captured the memories of the day that will last a lifetime. Whenever we want to be back to the 8th of May, we just look at our photos and can feel the love from the day radiate.“ The ceremony’s centerpiece was a gorgeous flower backdrop, created by Joy Fiori. Overlooking the stunning lake views at Sanctuary Cove, Casee and Brandon’s ceremony looked like it was straight out of a movie“…the ceremony was beyond beautiful! There was not a dry eye in the whole chapel, including Brandon and myself. It was the moment we had been waiting for for so long, and it was perfect.”

When you are looking for a classic, elegant, yet modern wedding dress, you cannot look past OBERON by Spanish designer Pronovias. Oberon is not only one of those dresses you look at in twenty years and still love, but it also has a unique and modern touch to it. As a minimalist bride, who wanted to have a big entrance, Casee fell head over heels in love with her dream wedding dress: "It was such a timeless style that will never date. It sculpted my body and fit like a glove! I felt like it was very much my style and it made me feel like the best version of myself!”
What made your White Lily Couture experience special for you?
“The ladies of White Lily made me feel like an absolute star right from the first moment I walked in the door. It was such a beautiful day that I got to share with my sister and maid of honour The first wedding dress I tried on ended up being the one I picked, it felt like fate.”
Casee and Brandon’s Next Chapter
Getting married is one thing, but actually starting a life together as husband and wife takes it to a whole new level of excitement: “I just love that we are both officially each other’s person. We are so very proud to call each other husband and wife. We loved getting to celebrate with our friends and family and now we can enjoy this new chapter that lies ahead. We are in a love bubble that we never want to burst, it feels magical."
