When we think of a Queensland country wedding, this is exactly what comes to mind. Boho touches, gorgeous views, and smiles as wide as the eye can see. White Lily bride Rebekah and husband Zachary celebrated their love during their dream wedding on private property in Queensland’s hinterland.
It was a high school volleyball match, nine years ago, that brought these two lovers together – turns out it was a win for both of them! Seven years later, during their romantic anniversary getaway, Zach finally popped the question. Imagine being surrounded by stunning views of the Glasshouse Mountains, sipping on a glass of wine, and being surprised with a little shiny something…BLISS! Two years later, Rebekah and Zach finally got to seal their bond whilst celebrating with their nearest and dearest.
A Queensland Boho Chic Country Wedding
Upon asking our White Lily bride how she would describe the style of her wedding, she told us that it was all about creating a relaxed vibe. Rebekah and Zach wanted to encourage their guests to have a good time and to be themselves. Mission accomplished! Their special day ended up being a stunning mixture of boho and country chic. Playful elements like their caravan bar by Blooms & Earth created a fun atmosphere whilst adding a touch of glam to their special day. Completed with grazing platters, native greenery, and elegant roses, their Queensland hinterland wedding was beyond beautiful.
Rebekah wore our stunning crepe gown ANTIOPE by Pronovias. Shows were stolen, jaws were dropped, but most importantly, Rebekah was able to shine her brightest self. She loved how modern and simplistic it was, whilst hugging her in all the right places and making her feel comfortable and beautiful on her special day.
What made your White Lily Couture experience special for you?
“The atmosphere of the boutique is so beautiful, and even when the place is packed you really feel like the staff are there just for you.”
Mr. & Mrs.
Now that Rebekah and Zach are finally able to call each other husband and wife, they are over the moon that they will never have to plan a wedding again. Despite the stress that comes with putting together your dream wedding, the couple is now beyond excited to spend the rest of their lives together.
Before signing off, here’s Rebekah’s advice to all future brides: “Just do what feels right for you and try not to buy into everyone else’s opinions!”
