The radiant couple Tegan and Ena wed at Flaxton Gardens in the lush Sunshine Coast Hinterland in one of Australia's first same sex weddings. A heartfelt day filled with love and emotion, the day could not have been happier or more special with all of their gorgeous friends and family surrounding them.
Tegan opted to contrast Ena's beautiful ivory ballgown with the sleek and form-fitting Omar gown by Pronovias. This gown features a crepe skirt with a lovely lace bodice and low back. With lace detailing filtering out into the skirt, it was the perfect choice for this ultra-modern bride. The pair's matching illusion boat necklines combined the two contrasting silhouettes into a match made in heaven.
The bridal party were adorned in shades of blush pink and rich navy, while both brides had hands intertwined around a single bouquet of dusty pink roses.
The joyous couple were met with a copious amounts of bubbles as they exited the ceremony with huge smiles spread across their faces. Tegan and Ena joined their guests at long reception tables decorated with native greenery and rustic wood accents.
The wedding finished with an abundance of dancing and super sweet cupcakes!
