A wedding is all about love and that’s exactly what this week’s White Lily bride India wanted to focus on when planning her special day.
Styling
White flowers, subtle decor, and a crepe dress that took everyone’s breath away. Simplistic beauty was on India and Nathan’s mind when planning their intimate wedding day. India wanted to ensure that the focus was on the couple only and reflected their love for each other. Shared with only their closest friends and family, our White Lily bride’s choice of minimal and thoughtful decor was beyond stunning and created a truly magical day.
A LinkedIn Love Story
Before we jump into the Brisbane couple’s favourite memories of their big day, let’s talk about how they met. Who would have thought that a job platform could deliver far more than just a career? India was scrolling through her LinkedIn to find a post-grad research connection, as she stumbled across Nathan’s profile: “…he was so handsome and studying at the same university as me. We talked back and forth casually for a while and went on a date and the rest is history!”

A Day To Remember
With a day filled with so much love and warmth, hearing about India’s favourite part of the day had us in awe: “Being up at the altar and looking at Nathan and feeling like it was only the two of us in the room. We each wrote personal vows so hearing them, holding his hands and feeling so in love in that moment was probably the most memorable part.”
The Dress
Ivania by Pronovias Atelier is timeless minimalism personified. It is crafted entirely in silk crepe and completely steals the show with its luxurious finishes. As India walked into our Brisbane boutique she was looking for a wedding dress that allowed her to shine: “I loved that it was classic and allowed my personality to shine. I didn’t want a dress that would wear me.” Captured by the talented Megan Kelly, we could not get enough of India’s wedding photos. She looked absolutely breathtaking in her dream gown.
India’s White Lily Couture Experience
“I was actually running a little late for the appointment but the girls were SO understanding and treated me like I was the only person in the store - they let me try on so many gowns and encouraged me to try different styles to see what I liked.”
Something To Learn…
Getting married in 2020, India and Nathan weren’t spared from Mr. Covid. The Brisbane couple ended up changing their wedding date from June to November. By the time the wedding came around, they just had to deal with minor dance restrictions. Despite the stress of planning a wedding during uncertain times, our White Lily bride India was able to focus on what’s most important: “Just remember why you’re marrying this person. Also, get in writing vendor’s Covid policies, should you have to reschedule or cancel, before booking them!”
To Our Future!
Starting their journey as Mr. and Mrs., India and Nathan can’t wait to purchase their first home on the southern Gold Coast and to expand their family beyond their “two fur babies”. So much love for these two!
